Full Send | Wk 1: Choose Purpose
What would happen if we went all-in on our God-given purpose? Full Send invites students to fight apathy, commit to discipline, build resilience, and stay connected to God, the True Source, as they whole-heartedly pursue their God-given purpose. The teenage years are a unique period of time. Teens are discovering new levels of independence, forming their identities, navigating friendships, and considering what to do with their interests and passions. What a gift from God! Teenage brains are literally wired in a way they will never be wired again—wired for play, possibility, and pursuit. These are prime years for getting a headstart on changing the world and forming a Jesus-worldview.
This series challenges students to call to life any parts of their purpose they've muted or ignored—whether for fear of being seen trying, lack of self-discipline, being derailed by painful setbacks, or finding themselves addicted to the inescapable cheap dopamine that seems to be everywhere these days.

TAKE ATTENDANCE & INTRODUCE YOURSELF (If anyone is new)
FOR FUN: Take some time to catch up. Ask your students – How has school been? And what are you most excited about this school year?
DISCUSS THIS:
1. When you picture living your absolute "best, fullest life," what does that actually look like? Be honest—what role do things like money, status, popularity, or freedom play in that picture?
2. What is one "I can't wait until..." milestone you find yourself waiting on right now?
3. Read John 10:10. The message talked about how "The Thief" promises satisfaction but leaves us feeling empty, anxious, or fake. What are some specific "cheap distractions" or cultural pressures (social media, fitting in, quick hits of dopamine) that try to steal your peace or time today?
4. Jesus describes us as sheep and Himself as the Good Shepherd. The message pointed out that sheep aren't just unwise; they are completely dependent and get stuck easily. How does viewing Jesus as a loving protector—rather than a "disappointed coach with folded arms"—change the way you view following Him?
5. What does a personal, daily relationship with Jesus look like for a middle or high school student, beyond just going to church on Sundays?
6. Looking at how you spend your time, energy, and focus right now, are you pouring into things that actually last, or are you letting those months slip away on temporary stuff?
7. If you paused right now and asked Jesus, "What does a full, purposeful life look like for ME at my school/home this week?"—what is one specific thing, habit, or mindset you think He would lovingly prompt you to change?
