Summer On The Mount | Summer on the Mount: The Kingdom Manifesto. Summer series focused on Jesus' Sermon on the Mount, found in Matthew 5–7. In this sermon, Jesus lays out the foundational principles of God's Kingdom, challenging His followers to live with righteousness, humility, and trust in God. Each week, we will explore key teachings such as the Beatitudes, being salt and light, fulfilling the law, loving our enemies, prayer, and building a life rooted in Christ. This series invites us to embrace Jesus’ radical call to discipleship and live out His Kingdom values in our daily lives.
Nine Weeks:
Matthew 5:1-12: Beatitudes
Matthew 5:13-16: Salt & Light
Matthew 5:17-20: Christ came to fulfill the law
Matthew 5:21:32: Anger, Lust, Divorce
Matthew 5:33-48: Oaths, Retaliation, Love your enemies
Matthew 6:1-18: Giving to the needy, Lord’s Prayer, Fasting
Matthew 6:19-34: Treasures in Heaven, Do not be anxious
Matthew 7:1-12: Judging others, Ask…it will be given, Golden rule
Matthew 7:13-27: Narrow Gate, Tree & it’s fruit, Build your house on the rock
