• Use the lead app to check in students and make sure any students not listed fill out a connect card digitally.

• Do not move on until check-in has happened and any students not listed have filled out a connect card.
  

• Now let’s get the conversation going.

  • Have you ever broken a bone or seriously injured yourself? What did you learn through that experience?

  • Do you know anyone who makes a big difference behind the scenes? What do you think about them and the work they do?!

• Have a student read 1 Corinthians 12:12-27

  • If you were one part of the human body, which part would best represent you?!

  • Spend some time on this truth: You matter. Your story, voice, and gifts are all important.

    • Follow up by asking the students “ Do you believe this? Why or why not?!”

• A few questions to open our minds up to possibilities:

  • What is your part in the body of Christ? What were you uniquely created to do?!

    • Every part is important. How can your part in the church make a difference in this world?!

• Commit to a step and live it out this week.

  • Consider how you could use the gifts and experiences God’s given you.

  • How could you love, serve, or share with others?

Now pray together celebrating how each of us are created with special gifts and a role to play. Pray that we would believe the truth that we are invaluable in Jesus name.

We will know we have hit our target if:

-All students have CIY MIX or MOVE at the forefront of their minds.

-Everyone has the knowledge that they are invaluable and they understand why they are invaluable.

-Leaders and students get to catch up after break..
