This is The End :: The End Times

  • Use the lead app to check in students and make sure any students not listed fill out a connect card digitally.

  • Do not move on until check-in has happened and any students not listed have filled out a connect card.

  • Remind them they can ask us anything by texting AMA to 678-798-8338 or by dropping a card in the lobby AMA Box.

  • Here is a list fo the 5 things the students got to pick from:

    • The Antichrist and the Mark of the beast (Revelation 13)

    • The Two Witnesses (Revelation 11:1-14)

    • The 4 Horsemen (Revelation 6:1-8)

    • The Seven Trumpets (Revelation 8:6-11:19)

    • The Seven Bowls (Revelation 16)

  • Whichever they chose in the main space have your group pick one to dive into.

    • Have someone in the group read the scripture.

      • Three Basic Questions:

        • (Observation) What do we see in the scripture

        • (Interpretation) What does the scripture actually mean?

        • (Application) How do we apply this to our current lives?

  • The Five crowns:

    • The Imperishable Crown (1 Corinthians 9:24-27)

      • Lives where we focus on the imperishable (eternity) instead of the perishable

    • The Crown of Rejoicing (1 Thessalonians 2:19-20)

      • Lives spent rejoicing

    • The Crown of Righteousness (2 Timothy 4:8)

      • Lives spent pursuing and becoming more holy and righteous

    • The Crown of Glory (1 Peter 5:2-5)

      • Lives spent in the presence of His Glory

    • The Crown of Life (James 1:12)

      • Lives spent in Eternity

    • Spend a few minutes discussing the 5 crowns and what their actual value is as an outpouring of our love to the God of the Universe.

  • Next Step

    • Have each student come up with a simple next step to pursue one of the crowns.

  • Read Revelation 22:20-21 together

    • Why is this the last thing spoken in the entirety of the bible?

  • Finish by praying as a group.

We will know we have hit our target if:

-Students have learned some crazy things about the apocalypse.

-There is a genuine understanding of the idea that we do not earn our way into eternity. Jesus does the work of saving us, and we respond in love persuing the crowns.

-The students leave with a simple next step to pursue one or more of the crowns - the rewards - we are blessed with when we love Jesus in these ways.

-Everyone that is here is either already listed in your group or has filled out a connect card before leaving.
