High School groups need to choose a place to meet for dinner next week.
Middle School students need to bring $5 for pizza, drinks, and snacks.
What stuck out to you tonight?
Have someone read Matthew 5:14-16 - “You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden. Nor do people light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on a stand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.
What is Jesus saying in this verse?
Why is it important to do good works?
Would you consider yourself a busybody in life?
What about in your faith?
Have someone read Ephesians 2:8-10 - For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them”
How can you start walking in and doing good works in your life?
As we wrap up this series, spend a few minutes discussing how we as a group can be “Equipped” to do good works.
Spend a few minutes asking how we as a group can pray for each of the students.
