April 20th –Hands on Henry: Leadership Henry is sponsoring the annual Hands on Henry event on Saturday, April 20th, from 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM. This is a great way for Momentum to partner with our community to make Henry County a better place to live, work, and play! May 9th –Partnership Gathering: If you’re ready to find out how you can partner with Momentum on this amazing journey, then come to our Partnership Gathering at the Westridge Campus at 6:30 PM on Thursday, May 9th. We will talk about what it means to be a Christ follower, how to connect here at Momentum, what we believe and how to partner with us. Childcare up through 5th grade will be provided, but you must sign-up prior to the gathering. To sign-up, please email info@momentumcc.org.
May 18th – Geranium Festival: Momentum will have a booth again this year at the Geranium Festival in downtown McDonough. The festival is from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM and we are looking for people to join us at the booth! The first shift is from 7:30 AM (to help with set-up) until 12:30 PM, and the second shift from 12:30 PM until 5:30 PM (to help with tear down). May 25th – Hope for Haiti 5K: What has five legs and a heartbeat? You do! Join us on Saturday, May 25th, for a 5K that will help bring hope to Haiti. All proceeds from this event will go towards the medical aspect of the September mission trip to Haiti. Runners, walkers, and volunteers are all invited to participate.
